So Why do I like Michiru? I think the main reason is that she is mature. I am an adult myself, and I don't relate as well to the younger inner senshi who do a lot of things I did ten years ago. Michiru, even though she's only a year older than the inner senshi, tends to approach matters in a mature way. She thinks through her actions and comes off as sophisticated and mature.

I think she's easy to idolize because she seems perfect. She's talented and beautiful. She presents herself well. You can tell by looking at Michiru that she thinks highly of herself, and most people want to feel that way about themselves. She's also idolized by many of the inner senshi, and also her classmates. Popularity is something many people wish for, and Michiru seems to garner that whether she wants it or not.

She's also extremely talented in both music and arts. Even though her choice of music is playing the violin, which in American culture isn't something many teens want to do, she is so good at it that she receives fame and fortune, something many teens do want. She is seen playing a concert with the three lights, one of the most popular idol groups in japan.

I think the other major reason I've always liked her is that she has the perfect relationship with Haruka. That type of devotional love is something every girl dreams of, including myself, regardless of the gender of the other person. I find Haruka and Michiru's love is beautiful, and it inspires me to keep my relationship the same.
